# euvolemic hypotonic hyponatremia, Na 119 more likely due to possible SIADH
> sodium 119 less than 120 mEq, asymptomatic
> serum osmolality, urine sodium 23 and urine osmo 262
> euvolemic
> goal is to increase the serum sodium initially by 6-8 mEq for the 1st 24 hours
> expected initial 119 -121-123-125-127 ( total 8mEq increase by 16:00 on 10/15/2024)
 
·    Regular diet
·    Fluid restriction 500 cc per 24 hours
·    Strict Intake & out
·    Monitor signs of symptom of osmotic demyelinating syndrome
·    BMP q.6 hours
·    TSH, uric acid
·    If sodium level greater than 127 mEq with over-correction in 24 hour, start D5W 250 bolus.
